A background in pharmaceutical sciences and high-level research training in cheminformatics (CI) applied to tackle various challenges in drug discovery and development. Over 10 years of experience in exploratory data analysis, workflow processing, data management for biomedical discovery, and health-record data mining. Development of powerful digital drug resources, as well as innovative methods, tools, and evaluation parameters that have found widespread applicability in the life sciences, particularly in drug discovery.
Between 2019-2023, coordinated the ICTRA team, as part of the Knowledge Management Centers (KMC) for Illuminating the Druggable Genome Consortium (IDG), a U54 program funded by the NIH Common Fund with the goal to shed light on areas of understudied protein targets. The role of the ICTRA team has been to develop tools (new computational methods) for IDG and monitor the development levels of the protein targets. Development and maintenance of a powerful digital drug resource - DrugCentral - which has become widely utilized in the life sciences and drug discovery.
